The implemented force balance, state definition, sign convention, and model boundary are public.

01 / A simpler engineering workflow
Configure → Explore → Compare
Three focused workspaces keep configuration, range exploration, and detailed comparison separate while preserving one continuous study context.
- 01
Configure
Define the quarter-car, road input, and numerical study with visible units and validation.
- 02
Explore
Sweep damping or stiffness over an exact deterministic candidate range under one scenario.
- 03
Compare
Promote a candidate into Variant A and inspect neutral parameter, metric, and response deltas.
02 / Engineering trust
The assumptions stay visible.
VehicleLab keeps numerical behavior, provenance, equations, validation evidence, and the current model boundary close to the result—not hidden behind a product claim.
Review Verification & Validation evidence →Identical accepted inputs produce identical time bases, channels, metrics, and sweep candidates.
A dedicated Web Worker runs the study. Inputs and results are not sent to a VehicleLab backend.
Canonical regression checks and a source-audited published benchmark remain inspectable.
03 / Product capability
Focused ride-study decisions.
- Four prescribed road inputs and editable physical parameters
- Headline ride metrics and synchronized time-history plots
- Deterministic damping or stiffness sweeps with exact endpoints
- Actual-candidate response and trade-off plots with UTF-8 CSV export
- Baseline versus Variant A deltas, overlays, and optional motion playback
- Portable projects, exact-channel CSV, reliable plot PNG, and professional PDF reports
- Published Zhao et al. numerical benchmark and visible V&V evidence
04 / Honest model boundary
A deliberately narrow model.
The preset is generic and has not been correlated to a production vehicle. The current linear passive model excludes pitch, roll, geometry, nonlinear components, contact loss, and control systems.
VehicleLab supports transparent engineering exploration. It is not a certification, safety-validation, optimization, or full-vehicle platform.
Read the complete model boundary →05 / Start a study
Move from one response to a defensible comparison.
Start with the generic preset, inspect the result, explore a bounded range, and compare a candidate under the same scenario.
