Start using VehicleLab
Run the model before changing it.
Run the default study, understand the interface, and complete a guided parameter change.
Run your first study →02Understand the engineering
Read every result in context.
Learn what the inputs, result channels, metrics, signs, and units mean.
Understand the results →03Review the evidence
Inspect verification before accepting claims.
Inspect the equations, numerical method, independent reference, canonical cases, and current evidence boundary.
Review V&V evidence →Published numerical benchmark
Reproduce one traceable passive quarter-car case.
The Zhao et al. 2015 benchmark adds source provenance, independently extracted Figure 9 data, computed error metrics, and an editable Studio entry without replacing the primary Getting Started path.
Review the published benchmark →Current product scope
VehicleLab 0.6.0 runs one linear, passive, two-degree-of-freedom quarter-car study, one bounded damping/stiffness sweep, or one Baseline/Variant A comparison directly in a dedicated browser Web Worker. Sweep candidates and paired configurations share the same prescribed road, initial state, duration, and fixed-step RK4 settings. Results include aligned Float64 histories, neutral sweep trade-offs and metric deltas, overlay plots, exact-channel CSV, reliable 1600 × 1000 PNG, professional local PDF Engineering Reports, and optional local motion playback. Learn how reports preserve evidence boundaries.

Evidence boundary
A generic preset—not a named production vehicle.
Current evidence supports the documented mathematical model, numerical implementation, Worker path, browser workflow, and one published passive numerical reproduction. Physical correlation has not been performed and no experimental data is claimed.
